Doorst.app sells and delivers your subscriptions. The invoice stays where it belongs: in your own Moneybird administration, with your numbering and your VAT.
No credit card needed · Invoices from your own Moneybird, Mollie or Stripe
You no longer sell loose projects but packages: a monthly SEO subscription, a design retainer, maintenance on a webshop. Invoicing that from Moneybird works fine. What Moneybird does not do is keep track of the work underneath: which client has which package, what is due this month, and what your client gets to see of it. Doorst.app does that part and leaves the invoicing where it already worked. Attach a package to a client and Doorst.app creates the sales invoice in your administration, and Moneybird sends it. You get a sales channel, not a second bookkeeping.
Not on the invoicing itself. On everything around it that you keep by hand as soon as you sell more than a handful of subscriptions.
Your packages live in a spreadsheet, your invoices in Moneybird. Who has paid this month, you only know once both are open.
Twenty clients is twenty times the same invoice to prepare. Skipping one is a month of revenue nobody misses.
You get portals and packages, but the invoice is then usually created at Stripe, with its own number series that you have to get into your books afterwards.
The invoice is clear, the work underneath is not. Without a place to look along, that becomes the same email every month.
Six things, no more. Anything you do not see below, Doorst.app does not touch.
Link your client to an existing Moneybird contact and Doorst.app takes the billing address and VAT number from it and invoices that contact. No second contact appears next to it. If the contact does not exist yet, Doorst.app creates one on the client email address.
Your package becomes an invoice line: the package name with the interval after it, your price, and the period the line covers.
Doorst.app does not invent rates but takes one that already exists in your Moneybird: the general rate of your administration, or your own 0% reverse-charge rate for a business client in another EU country with a VAT number that VIES found valid.
The invoice is created and sent in your administration. Moneybird gives it a number from your own series. Doorst.app only puts a reference in the reference field, DOORST followed by a code, so you can see which invoice came from a subscription.
If the contact has a Peppol identity in Moneybird, the invoice goes out as an e-invoice over Peppol. If not, as a PDF by email. If the Peppol attempt fails, it still goes by email, so an invoice never gets stuck.
When Moneybird marks the invoice paid, late, reminded or open, that arrives through a signed webhook and Doorst.app sets the subscription to active, past due or awaiting payment. You tick nothing off.
You click Connect Moneybird in Doorst.app and sign in at Moneybird. Doorst.app asks for access to sales invoices, documents and settings, nothing more, and immediately registers the payment webhook so payments come back on their own. No API keys to copy, no middleman.
A package in Doorst.app is a name, a price and an interval: every two weeks, monthly, quarterly or yearly. That name is the invoice line your client will see, so write it the way you want it on the invoice.
Search the existing contact in your administration from Doorst.app and link your client to it. Address and VAT number then come from Moneybird and that contact is invoiced. Skip this, and Doorst.app creates a contact on the client email address.
As soon as you attach a package to a client, Doorst.app creates the sales invoice in your administration and Moneybird sends it, over Peppol where possible and otherwise by email. The payment term is the one of your workspace, 14 days by default.
How your client pays, you arrange in Moneybird, not in Doorst.app. Which payment methods appear on the invoice, iDEAL for instance, depends on what you switched on in your own administration. Doorst.app creates the invoice, lets Moneybird send it and reads the status back. Doorst.app manages no direct debit mandates itself and will never issue or revoke one on your behalf.
Every day Doorst.app checks which subscriptions are due for a new period and prepares the next invoice for them. That invoice is dated at the start of the period, even if the check runs a day later, and the covered period is on the line. If a subscription pauses, the period moves along with it.
Rather not invoice through Moneybird? The same subscriptions can also run through your own Mollie or Stripe account. There too your client gets an invoice with a payment link every period, and Doorst.app manages no standing mandate.
This is the question every Moneybird user asks first, so here is the answer in full.
Doorst.app is not an accounting package and does not want to become one. There is no second ledger, no second VAT return and no second place where your revenue lives. Moneybird stays your administration, also after you connect Doorst.app.
Doorst.app checks per client and per period whether an invoice already exists for it. If it does, no second one is created, even if the daily check runs twice or a connection drops halfway. If an invoice is still open, the next one waits until it is paid.
Link a client to an existing Moneybird contact and Doorst.app invoices that contact, with the email address already on it. Nothing is overwritten and no namesake appears next to it.
Moneybird numbers, as always. Doorst.app only puts a reference in the reference field. Your invoice template, your numbering and your layout do not change.
Doorst.app sends no ledger account, so Moneybird books the line on the default that applies in your administration, exactly as with an invoice you type yourself. Your bank connection, your reconciliation and your VAT return stay yours and your accountant's.
If something is off about the VAT rate, for instance an EU client with reverse charge while that 0% rate is not in your administration, Doorst.app sends nothing and you get a notice. Repairing a wrongly taxed invoice costs more time than an invoice that goes a day later.
Stop using Doorst.app and everything that is already in Moneybird simply stays: your contacts, your sent invoices, your payments and your number series. Doorst.app creates invoices, has them sent and reads the status back, and never deletes one. What you lose is the automation, not your history.
Doorst.app does not replace Moneybird, it serves Moneybird. This is where the three routes part ways.

You pay per agency, not per user: an unlimited number of team members on every plan. Prices exclude VAT. The transaction fees of iDEAL or Bancontact you pay to your own Mollie, Moneybird or Stripe, exactly as now.
The full comparison of the plans, including any running offer, is on our pricing section.
If all you want is to send the same invoice every period, Moneybird can do that itself. Subscriptions are in Moneybird from the Start plan, including a page where your client can start, change or cancel their subscription, and a mandate that collects the following periods automatically. Then Doorst.app is superfluous, and we would rather say so now than after three months. Doorst.app only becomes interesting when there is work under that subscription that your client wants to follow. And even then, this is what Doorst.app does not do today.
No. Doorst.app creates exactly one thing in your administration: the sales invoice for the subscription, with a number from your own series. There is no second ledger, Doorst.app sends no ledger account and your existing contacts are not overwritten. If you link a client to an existing Moneybird contact, that contact is invoiced instead of a new one, so no namesakes appear either.
Doorst.app does not invent VAT rates but picks one that is already in your administration: the general rate of your administration for a Dutch client, or your own 0% reverse-charge rate for a business client in another EU country with a VAT number that VIES found valid. If that reverse-charge rate is not in your administration, Doorst.app does not send the invoice and you get a notice, instead of 21 percent being added. Clients outside the EU and full OSS VAT per country for consumers are not in yet.
A Doorst.app workspace connects to one Moneybird administration: the one you invoice these clients from. Several administrations side by side in the same workspace is not possible today, so a second administration means a second workspace with its own subscription. If you work with a separate administration per brand or per company, email [email protected] and we will look at what works in your case.
Yes. Doorst.app invoices through your own Moneybird administration, your own Mollie account or your own Stripe account, and you choose which. The money arrives directly with you in all three cases, because Doorst.app never sits between you and your client. With Mollie and Stripe the invoice does get a number from their series instead of yours. If you want the invoice to be created in your bookkeeping, Moneybird is the route you are looking for.
Everything that is already in Moneybird stays: your contacts, your sent invoices, your payments and your number series. Doorst.app creates invoices, has Moneybird send them and reads the payment status back, and never deletes one. What stops is the automation: no new invoice is prepared when a period starts, and payments no longer set your subscriptions to active or past due by themselves.
Create your workspace, connect your administration and attach your first client to a package. The invoice then simply sits in your own Moneybird, as always.
